Comm 2G / Comm 4G Communicator

Description:
The COMM 4G/COMM 2G universal communicator transmits security events from burglary alarms that use a telephone line communication interface to a remote monitoring station.
Communication is done over a mobile communication network using 4G technology (or 2G, for COMM 2G) and it is compatible with most mobile communication operators.
Considering that the mobile operators worldwide are shutting down their 2G networks for a better use of the radio spectrum, the corresponding traffic will be taken over by the 4G/LTE network.
A timely planning to equip new burglary alarm installation with communicators using 4G technology prevents the inconvenience of replacing the existing equipment when the shut down of 2G will be announced.
Compatibility:
- Communicates with all remote monitoring stations that accept SIA DC-09 protocol.
- Can be interfaced to all burglary alarms that use a PSTN communication interface.
- Can be used with most mobile communication providers.

- Public or private APN.
- Configuration over SMS, without specialized cables and software.
- Detects and signals jamming events (COMM_4G only).
- Signals the loss of communication with the burglary alarm.
- Two dry contact inputs that can send a configurable event to the monitoring station.

Security:
- Encrypted (AES 128) or not encrypted communication, over UDP or TCP protocol.
- Events are passed directly to the monitoring station, without 3rd party servers.
- Security is enhanced by deleting all communication parameters when the SIM card is swapped.
